Our latest cruise adventures + We’re planning something fun in Alaska next year

Hey there everyone,

It’s been a little while since we’ve sent out a newsletter, but we’ve definitely been busy traveling and apparently cruising has become a pretty big theme around Travel Makes Me Happy lately. 😂

We recently sailed on Celebrity Reflection for a quick Key West and Nassau getaway, and it was actually our first time cruising with Celebrity. We ended up really enjoying the ship, the food, the entertainment and especially some of the little things that made the experience feel different from other cruise lines we’ve sailed.

If you’ve been curious about Celebrity, you can read our full review below:

3-Day Key West, Nassau Cruise: Our Review

Before taking our first Celebrity cruise, several friends warned us that Celebrity Cruises might feel boring, overly formal, or designed mainly for older travelers. Boy, were they wrong!

8 Best Alaska Inside Passage Cruises for 2027

We just published a new guide comparing 8 Inside Passage Alaska cruises for glacier viewing, including different cruise lines, itineraries and departure ports.

Ultimate Key West Travel Guide: What to Know Before You Go

Because we can apparently never stay away from Key West for very long, we also updated our big Ultimate Key West Travel Guide with all new recommendations to help you plan.

But the trip we’re REALLY excited about…

We’re going back to Alaska! You can join us on this Inside Passage cruise on the sophisticated Celebrity Edge!

We’re sailing on Celebrity Edge on September 24, 2027, which sails from Seattle and returns to Vancouver for a unique Inside Passage cruise! After the cruise, our group is planning to explore Vancouver, then take the Amtrak train from Vancouver back to Seattle before flying home. See our Celebrity Edge itinerary

Want to come with us?

If Alaska has been on your list, just fill out the short form below and I’ll send you the current cabin options, pricing and details. There’s no pressure or obligation, it just lets us know you’d like more information and we’ll send the cruise info. We can also book any sailing or cruise line you'd like, but we would love it if you joined us on this sailing!

Tell me about the Alaska cruise →

We are really excited about this one. Alaska is one of those trips that is hard to describe until you’ve actually stood outside watching glaciers and mountains go by.

Thanks for sticking around even when my newsletters are a little less frequent than they probably should be. 😊

Happy travels!

Hopefully, by sharing my experiences, planning tips, travel reviews, and destination information that I’ve gathered along my journey it will help others in their own travel discoveries.
